Welcome to Brum Community Media.
We make good stuff happen.

Brum Community Media was created in response to the pandemic offering citizens and creatives an accessible platform to share, collaborate and network.

We understand that creatives need to create and this core value is at the heart of what we stand for at BCM.

The projects, exhibitions and events you see on this website are produced by Brum Community Media in collaboration with artists and organisations from around the world.

Brum Community Media is among the top creative networks currently working in response to Covid19.

9th May and still going…

Hope Radio is an emergency public service broadcaster transmitting throughout the Covid19 pandemic.

We provide FM radio programs for the over 50s to share experiences, send messages to friends and family and show support for essential workers.  Aimed at those who don’t have, or have no desire to use the internet, this public service is a way to communicate with people and help them feel that they are not alone.

Hope Haiku

Hope Haiku

Project Lead : Lisa Johnston

Hope Radio is thrilled to be collaborating on Hope Haiku, a new project from BCM member Lisa Johnston of Red Bucket Projects.

Taking inspiration from Haiku, this project is asking people to get involved to spread messages of hope that will be delivered with food parcels.

We’ll be announcing more projects soon to run alongside the ones mentioned here.

If you’re a creative and have a project you’d like to discuss with us – we’d love to hear from you. Drop us an email to brumcommunitymedia@gmail.com
